I am a devoted wife and mother of five beautiful young children. Rooted in family, my connection to God is a constant. My spiritual journey always tended towards the scenes of Christ in suffering and along the way God guided me expressing my faith in art. It has taught me that suffering is the greatest opportunity to know the love of God. It always heals something and we must trust in God to endure it.
As a creative person my mind is always full of ideas and I needed an outlet. I wanted to create something with meaning and these scenes stand as an exploration of my faith and my desire to share it. I feel a personal connection to each image I cast.
I love the feeling of the clay in my hands, it is soothing and calming in my busy life. I love creating something from nothing. Molding and transforming an object into something new and beautiful has become my prayer time. It refreshes my spirit and fills me with inspiration and joy. It reminds me how we can continue to renew and transform our own lives.
